This film was shot and produced during my time with the Kinyan Lam brand. It documents a day in the life and craft of local dyeing and embroidery artisans in Guizhou, China. From sunrise to nightfall, the camera follows the rhythm of their daily labor and traditional handcraft practices.

The video captures the intricate process of natural plant dyeing — an ancient technique — including the collection of raw dye materials, the preparation of dye vats, and the detailed steps of soaking, drying, and color-fixing the fabrics. It also showcases the artisans’ weaving and dyeing work, highlighting the beauty and depth of their traditional craftsmanship.


本片是在 Kinyan Lam 品牌  任职期间负责拍摄制作，纪录了一段关于贵州本地染娘与锈娘的一天的生活与手作过程。镜头由一天的日出到夜晚，全程记录了两位匠人一天的劳作与生活节奏。视频记录了日常植物染色这一古老工艺的细节过程，布料的浸染、晾晒与定色，从采集天然染料原材、准备染缸，到细致的织布与染布工艺。
